About
Jemima is a botanist and ecologist with strong experience working in plant conservation research and ecological restoration. Her work has spanned several continents, involving work in Uganda and the Comoros Islands in Africa, Peru and work across Europe. This experience has brought a wealth of knowledge in cross-culture conservation, working with foreign partners and collaborating with rural and indigenous communities. It has also provided a community focus to her work, ensuring that science-based conservation solutions benefit both ecosystems and local livelihoods. With strong language skills and proficiency in English, Spanish and French, Jemima’s ecology and community skills contribute and make her skills accessible to the international conservation settings.
